What can we do together
What Can We Do Together Campaign is a “give-back” initiative, designed to get Nigerians to nominate projects for different communities for consideration. The projects nominated for include: school learning materials for public primary schools, the supply of hospital equipment to Primary Health Care Centres & drilling and installation of 650ft Solar-Powered boreholes.
MTN Yellopreneur
MTN Yellopreneur is a collaboration with the Bank of Industry to empower Nigerian female entrepreneurs through training and funding. The initiative seeks to overcome the obstacles faced by women in the country, including gender gaps in entrepreneurship and the labor market.
MTN Scholarships
The scheme provides academic scholarships for both students studying Science and Technology discipline & Blind Students of any discipline in public tertiary institutions across the country.
ICT and Business Skills
This is an initiative that builds the capacity of youths between the ages of 18 to 35 in ICT, enhancing their employability and entrepreneurial skills.
MTN MUSON Music Scholars Program
This initiative provides annual scholarships worth N250,000 to cover tuition, books and transportation over 2 years, for eligible musically talented youth to study at the prestigious Musical Society of Nigeria (MUSON).
ASAP
ASAP is a behaviour change intervention hinged on awareness creation, advocacy, information & resources dissemination, stakeholder engagement and empowerment as tools to curb the prevalence of substance abuse in Nigeria.
Science and Technology Lab.
The MTNF Science and Technology Laboratory Project contributes to national efforts to make teaching and learning of key science subjects (including physics, chemistry, and biology) easier, more participatory, and enjoyable for students.
Y’ello doctor Initiative
The Y’ello Doctor Project is designed to provide free primary healthcare services (medical outreach) that involve consultations, medications, treatment, female hygiene & ante-natal packs to people in semi-urban and rural communities via 6 state-of-the-art mobile clinic trucks in Anambra, Gombe, Kano, Kwara, Lagos & Rivers, under the current phase which was implemented in 2022.
Community Development Project
The MTN Community Development Project is designed to involve the implementation of community-based development projects to complement the Government’s efforts at promoting sustainable socio-economic development in various communities in Nigeria.
Youth Entrepreneurship
(YEDP) enhances the entrepreneurial skills of MTN Scholars Alumni (youth who are past recipients of MTN scholarships).
Back to School Initiative
The MTNF Back2School is an initiative of the Youth Development Portfolio of MTN Foundation, committed to providing access to quality education through the provision of learning materials to children in public secondary schools around Nigeria.
Orphanage Support Initiative
The MTN Orphanage Support Initiative is an avenue through which MTN through its Foundation supports orphaned and vulnerable children across the country.
Performing Art Sponsorships.
Under this initiative, MTNF sponsors theatre productions, festivals and visual arts exhibitions that highlight our rich Nigerian and African stories.
Maternal Ward Support Project
The Maternal Ward Support Project contributes to the creation of un-hindered access to health care systems by upgrading, enhancing and providing equipment (beds, incubators, medical consumables etc) to 24 Maternal wards (Abia, Kaduna, Cross River, Niger, Sokoto, and Oyo States).
Life in My City Arts Festival
‘Life in my city’ is an annual visual arts festival targeted at youths from Nigeria who submit their artwork for review by a panel of judges.
