Meet Eli, MoMo PSB’s CEO!

There are a significant number of people who are financially underserved. It is important to remember that the drive for financial inclusion is not just about numbers, it’s about the lives that will be positively affected and the growth and empowerment of whole communities.

I am a chartered marketer and accomplished business leader, with over 23 years of experience in business development, commercial, strategic and operational management spanning the FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods), Telecoms and Fintech sectors. I have worked over the years, developing strategic partnerships for progress with relevant local and international stakeholders – government institutions, subject matter experts/ thought leaders, CEOs and Board members of multinational organisations.

I hold a BSc. Hons in Agriculture from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology and a post-graduate diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK. I’ve also participated in Executive and General Management programmes at Kellogg School of Management.

In MobileMoney Limited Ghana, the largest Mobile Money business in Ghana and a subsidiary of MTN Ghana, I was instrumental in setting up Mobile Money services and growing the subscriber base, transaction volumes and value. A feat I accomplished before joining the MoMo PSB team in Nigeria in 2022.

It is imperative that we drive the nation’s financial inclusion agenda for the good of all. My team and I are here and ready to serve.
