MTN TV is MTN’s video streaming service that offers access to Video and Audio’s Channels.
It is a one-stop shop for premium Nigerian OTT content, offering a mix of linear and on-demand international, local, and hyper-local content across multiple devices.
MTN TV has a variety of children’s content, documentaries, reality TV, series, movies and other exciting local and international content across all genres.
Whether you are looking for a laugh, a gripping series to binge or a movie night in, MTN TV’s got you covered.
MTN TV is only available to MTN customers with a valid mobile number.
You can go to MTN Play, search or “MTN TV”, click on “download” and you will be redirected to the appropriate application store for your device.
MTN TV Supports the following Operating System (OS) versions:
Android 8.0+ and iOS 15+.
Later when the Native App is available in Nigeria, you can access MTN TV by downloading the MTN TV App from the Google Play and Apple iStore.
There is currently no subscription fee for now, however standard data charges may apply (Free Plan).
You will need working internet access through mobile data or wi-fi to be able to stream the content.
Standard MTN data bundle rates will apply for mobile data.
Later there will be flexible hourly to monthly plans (ranging from N100 – N3,200) + pay-as-you-use.
You can pay for MTN TV with MTN Airtime, with your credit card through MTN Play and through MTN MoMo.
You can log in to MTN TV by entering your MTN cellphone number to receive a One Time Pin (OTP), once you’ve entered the OTP sent to your cellphone, you can access MTN TV and start streaming your favorite channel.
By selecting “Log Out” under Setting and Preferences.
You will automatically be logged out after 90 days of inactivity.

You can access MTN TV on up to 5 devices linked to you logged in account.
However, you will only be able to watch/stream on one device at a time.
A new device can only be added if one of the existing 5 devices is deleted.

Yes. To watch the free channels on MTN TV, you will need working internet access.
If you don’t have access to wi-fi, you will need to purchase an MTN data bundle, for which standard MTN rates will apply.
If you would like to use airtime instead of data to stream your favorite channels, you will need to opt-in to the “out of bundle” usage option.
MTN TV has a parental control feature and can only be accessed with a 4-digit pin.
Programs on the MTN TV platform have a parental guidance rating.
The rating can guide parents to decide what content their kids can watch.
We currently use the following classifications:
(a) PG to indicate parental guidance (Suitable for 12years and below);
(b) 12 to indicate not suitable for persons less than 12 years;
(c) 12A indicate not suitable for persons less than 12 years unless accompanied by an adult; and
(d) 15A to indicate not suitable for persons less than 15 years unless accompanied by an adult.
Navigate to “Manage PIN” under the Setting and Preferences menu and follow the on-screen instructions.
Navigate to “Video Quality” under the Setting and Preferences menu then select Auto, High, Low.
The default Video Quality is set to Auto.
If you would like to limit data usage while watching your favorite MTN TV show, you can adjust streaming quality settings to lower data usage, especially when using mobile data.
